For my third and first interview of the new year, I chose Catherine
kautekouture on both Tumblr and Blogspot! I am a big fan of her blogs and love to see her posts on my dashboard! For more information, read our interview below!

Tell me a little about yourself?

My name is Katarina, I am 19 years old and from Copenhagen in Denmark. I study English at university and run the blog and the Tumblr blog!

How did you start blogging?

I have loved reading blogs for as long as I can remember and I think about 4 years ago I started my first blog, which I did not really have a clear idea about so it did not last that long. Last spring I decided to start a blog on Tumblr and from there I decided that it was something I really liked and wanted to do more seriously, so I started this blog!

What would you say your blog is about?

Mainly fashion, definitely. I put out my own clothes, my perception of how I would style different pieces or objects from a collection. I love beauty and lifestyle blogging as well, so there will certainly be posts about it too, but I try to stay in fashion!

How would you describe your personal style?

This is one of the most difficult questions people ask me, because I have no idea! I like elements from so many different styles and just try to integrate them all in my own style, really. I definitely like to follow trends, but I'm also a big fan of timeless pieces.

Who are your favorite bloggers?
I get lots of inspiration from so many different bloggers but in fashion I love Danielle Bernstein from and Julie Sarinana from! Make-up / lifestyle, my favorite blogs and youtube channels are Tanya Burr and Fleur De Force.

Name an item in your wardrobe you can't live without and why?

Either my black Topshop Leigh jeans or a leather jacket. The jeans are my goal for everything and I just think a leather jacket can do and dress a zillion times better.

What is currently on your wish list?

I have seen this wonderful long-line blaze from Monki that I try to track down and I am also looking for everything with a lace hem, basically.

What trends do you think should never be popular?

This is tough, because if you had asked me two years ago if I would ever wear heavier, I would have said NO, but now they are one of my favorite clothes. Trends are so unpredictable, and suddenly a piece that you initially thought was disgusting will be designed so it looks fantastic.

Be sure to follow Katarina at,, and!
